TUMBLE DRYER
A few things to consider:
Drying load
A large drying load capacity is particularly useful for large families or for drying duvets or bulky items.
Bigger loads save energy per item than smaller loads.
Drying type
VENTING - A venting hose is required to release the steam from the drying clothes. look out for your preferred venting position: at the front, rear or side of the dryer for easier connection of vent hose. Once installed, you can then forget about the dryer.
CONDENSING - Some condensation dryers do not need to be plumbed in - they have a water reserve which needs to be emptied periodically. Condensation is more energy-efficient and safer for clothes, although it does take longer.
Drying method
UNI-DIRECTIONAL MODELS - only rotate in one direction.
REVERSE-ACTION MODELS - feature a drum which rotates in both directions, which ensures that clothes are less creased and easier to iron.
SENSING MODELS - automatically measure the dampness of the clothes, stopping the machine at the selected level of dryness, therefore eliminating guesswork and saving on electricity.
