WASHING MACHINE
A few things to consider:
Spin speed
Higher spin models reduce drying times by removing more water from your wash.
800 rpm - GOOD
1200 rpm – BETTER
1800 rpm - BEST
Consider the noise made by higher spin speeds except where DD motors are used.
Performance
Machines are graded from A to E in three areas of performance:
A gives the best wash results and is the most effective at removing stubborn stains.
A will save you money by using less electricity and hot water.
A reduces drying times by removing more water from your clothes.
Wash load
A larger wash load capacity is particularly useful for large families or for washing duvets or bulky items. Bigger loads save water and energy per item than smaller loads.
Programme choice
Additional programmes offer extra choice in how your clothes are washed:
ECONOMY WASH - Reduces running costs.
SILK WASH - A lower temperature wash for delicate fabrics.
LIGHT LOAD - Ideal for washing a small number of items.
HAND WASH - Ideal for ‘hand only’ fabrics
